This is a story of that person who was a sweeper in a shop and he became the the one in the world's richest persons of the world by his ability. He also had to stand in queue for the food.But he faced all the problems and presented such a project which made him the one in the richest persons in the world.The name of this person is Jan Koum.
Jan Koum was born in Kiev city of Ukraine in 24 February 1976.He went America in the age of 16 with his grandmother and mother. He started working as a sweeper in the shops after seeing bad conditions of his home.His mother was died their due to cancer.The money, he get from government for his mother's treatment , bought some books with it and started learning computer programming. After it , he got admission in university. After completing his education their , he worked in YAYOO company.He worked there for 9 years.
Facebook was introduced to the world in 2004, he it became famous in the world and became the worlds largest company in 2007.Jan Koums applied in this company but Facebook rejected it.Then he had to work YAHOO in next 2 years.
Jan Koums wanted to buy an IPHONE but he had no money for it. He skipped his lunch and collected money and bought a new IPHONE. One day , he thought that why should i not make an app through which we can send Messages , Photos and other documents and could also not be hacked. It was a great idea and he shared it with his friend Brian Actin. They both started working on this plan. And after two years , they were succeeded in developing this application named WHATSAPP. It was launched in February 2009. It became much famous in all over the world very quickly. It was a great revolution in telecommunication and it joined to the whole world.
Now almost 2 billion people are using this app. It became much famous that every company of the world wanted to buy it. But he rejected everyone .
In February 2014, facebook sent a proposal to whatsapp to buy it.The administration of the facebook called the Jan koum and asked about whatsapp. After this, he laughed and said this is the company who rejected me in 2007. Then Jan koums was agreed in 19 billion dollars.
Jan koums put a condition that he will sign on this agreement in that welfare center where he and his mother sit for a long time for the food. It was a strange condition for the facebook. Facebook wanted to do this contract in their office.But Jan koums rejected this every time and he was still in welfare center.Facebook convinced a lot to Jan Koums but he rejected this everytime.
At last, Facebook agreed for coming in welfare center. They reached in welfare center.Jan Koums was weeping in sitting on the last chair of the waiting room of the welfare center. He called the Facebook team there because he and his mother had to stand in the queue for food for many hours.
It was much painful to sit in the waiting room for food. But even more painful was that the woman sitting on the counter because she looked with disgust. She always smiled Satirical and asked that for how long will you eat food from here? Why do not you do any work? It hurted them a lot but they could not do anything at that time because they had to eat food. At last, the woman gave him a slip, mother signed on it and both mother and son went on. They faced this situation for a long time. When he got his biggest succes of life, he decided to celebrate it in that waiting room. He signed on the contract for 19 billion dollars in that waiting room between the persons who came their for eating charity food and became the one in the world's richest men of the world. He picked cheque of 19 billion dollars and went to the counter to that woman and said to him that FINALLY I GOT A JOB. He said this and went out from there.
So we learn from this story that circumstances cannot effect our goal. We should fight with our problems because it will help us to grow. We should continue our struggle because the only person who know you that you can do this is only you.
